Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our Animal Feed Processing Team.

This role involves receiving, inspecting, and processing ingredients into finished animal feed, packing feed into bags, and loading lorries with bagged or bulk feed for delivery to customers. A key part of this position is operating and monitoring automated feed production systems using dedicated computer software and control interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

As a valued member of our dynamic mill team, you will be fully trained to:

  • Receive, store, and manage bagged raw materials using inventory tracking systems.
  • Inspect, test, and record the receipt of dry bulk ingredients using digital logging tools.
  • Operate and monitor all feed mill machinery - including batching, grinding, and pelleting - via integrated computerized control systems.
  • Accurately record receiving, batching, processing, and dispatch data using mill management software and backup paper records.
  • Carry out general operator duties, including maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Strictly adhere to all site Health & Safety, environmental, and technical policies and procedures, with accurate documentation completed digitally.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience operating machinery, ideally in a mill or similar production environment.
  • Familiarity with automated process control systems or stock management software.
  • HGV Class 1 Licence.
