Our client is a well-established food manufacturer
With continued investment in their site and production lines, they're looking for a skilled Night Shift Engineer to join their engineering team and keep operations running safely and efficiently through the night.
The role:
You'll respond to breakdowns, carry out planned maintenance and look for ways to improve reliability and reduce downtime. Working closely with production teams, you'll play a key part in hitting output targets while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Key responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on high-speed production and packaging equipment
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance in line with the maintenance schedule
- Support continuous improvement projects and root cause analysis to reduce recurring issues
- Complete accurate records of work carried out using CMMS system
- Work in line with food safety, hygiene and health & safety requirements, including safe isolation and permit-to-work procedures
- Hand over clearly to the day shift team to ensure continuity

What you'll need:
- An engineering qualification
- Multi-skilled experience, ideally gained in food, FMCG or another fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong fault-finding skills
- Comfortable making sound decisions under pressure
