Night Shift Hygiene Manager (6 Month FTC)
Location: Caerphilly
Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE
Our client is currently seeking a Hygiene Manager to join their manufacturing team on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in reviewing and improving hygiene processes and documentation.
Working as a key member of the operations team, you will lead the hygiene function on the night shift, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and compliance are maintained whilst driving continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the hygiene team during the night shift
- Maintain and continuously improve hygiene standards across the site
- Review and improve hygiene documentation, including CIP systems and cleaning records
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, hygiene, and technical standards
- Plan labour and resources to achieve productivity and cost targets
- Lead training, development, and performance management of the hygiene team
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and strong cross-functional communication
- Monitor hygiene performance through KPIs and support internal and external audits

Requirements
- Previous experience in a Hygiene Manager or Hygiene Supervisor role within a food manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of hygiene standards, food safety, and audit requirements
- Experience managing CIP systems and hygiene documentation
- Proven leadership and people management experience
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset

Salary & Benefits
- Up to £45,000 DOE
- 6-month Fixed Term Contract
- Night shifts: Monday to Friday, 20:30 - 05:00
