Embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek skilled and dedicated Night Shift Production Team Leader to contribute to our Production team.

As a Night Shift Production Team Leader at Terex, based in Cookstown, you'll play a pivotal role in leading the production team while also being capable of carrying out welding/fabrication duties when required. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strong people leadership to ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety expectations are consistently met.
What you’ll do:
Duties include:
- Lead a night shift production team, ensuring workload, materials, and resources are effectively planned to meet production targets.
- Tack and weld components to a high-quality standard in line with engineering drawings.
- Maintain high standards of quality, productivity, and housekeeping within the production area.
- Ensure strict compliance with all Health & Safety processes, procedures, and future legislation.
- Support the Production Supervisor to deliver, manage, and control day-to-day production to ensure on-time delivery.
- Apply high standards of 5S and promote Lean principles & methodology.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality, safety, and productivity.
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and welding symbols.
- Comply with quality requirements and support internal audits where necessary.
- Apply a logical, methodical, and detail-focused approach to fabrication tasks.

What you will bring:
- Significant production experience gained in a highly pressured and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables, and other measuring instruments specialized to the job or industry.
- Relevant work experience, preferably welding in a heavy equipment environment.
- Ideally, previous supervisory or people management experience.
- Good working knowledge of steel fabrication, machine parts, and steel processing.
- Ability to work on own initiative and take responsibility for making good business decisions when required.
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve problems quickly.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at one time.
- Motivated self-starter with an eye for detail.
- Ability to drive quality improvements and meet targets.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good IT skills.
