Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday | 20:00 - 04:00
Our client, a well-established logistics company based in Washington, is looking to recruit an experienced Night Shift Warehouse Manager to oversee the efficient running of their chilled distribution operation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated warehouse professional with strong leadership skills to join a fast-paced logistics business where quality, efficiency, and customer service are at the heart of everything they do.
The Role
As the Night Shift Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for leading the night warehouse team, ensuring all chilled products are received, stored, picked, and dispatched safely, accurately, and on time. You'll drive operational performance while maintaining high standards of health & safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop the night warehouse team.
- Manage the day-to-day operation of a busy chilled distribution warehouse.
- Monitor productivity, KPIs, and warehouse performance.
- Maintain compliance with health & safety and company procedures.
- Work closely with the transport team to ensure smooth overnight operations.
- Conduct shift handovers and complete operational reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and warehouse processes.
About You
- Previous experience in a Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Supervisor role within a logistics, distribution, or chilled warehouse environment.
- Strong leadership and people management experience.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Good understanding of health & safety and operational compliance.
- Able to work confidently in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
