Warehouse Operative - Night Shift
As a Night Warehouse Operative with Ocado Logistics, you’ll play a vital role in keeping thousands of customer orders moving every day.
You’ll work in a state-of-the-art warehouse supported by cutting-edge technology and robotics, while receiving an enhanced night-shift premium.
Our night shifts are ideal for people who prefer the night-shift lifestyle and want to increase their earning potential.
What We’re Looking For
- No warehouse experience is needed. Just bring a positive attitude and we’ll support you every step of the way.
- You must be 18 or over.
- You must be able to handle meat and alcohol.
- You must be able to travel to and from the site reliably for your scheduled shifts.
- For your safety and the safety of others, you must be able to understand and follow Health & Safety briefings and operational instructions.
Available Roles
Nights Inbound - 18:00 to 06:00 - 4 nights per week as per roster
Receive goods from suppliers and place them into totes ready for our robots and picking teams. You’ll help ensure stock is available and ready for customer orders.
Nights Pick - 18:00 to 06:00 - 4 nights per week as per roster

Pick and pack customer orders into shopping totes with care and accuracy. Our technology and robotics help support the process, making it an exciting and fast-paced environment.
Nights Despatch - 18:00 to 06:00 - 4 nights per week as per roster
Load customer totes into delivery frames ready for dispatch and organise returned totes from delivery routes. This is an active and physical role involving regular lifting and moving of goods.
Pay & Premiums
- Basic rate: £12.93 per hour
- Night-shift premium between midnight and 06:00: an additional £2.94 per hour
- Freezer premium for applicable roles: an additional £1.10 per hour
- Overtime paid at 1.25x the basic rate
