Are you an experienced warehouse leader looking for your next challenge? Do you thrive in a fast-paced operation where safety, service and team performance are at the heart of what you do? Here at XPO, we're looking for a full-time, permanent Warehouse Night Shift Supervisor to join our operation in Leigh.

About the Role

Working Monday night through to Saturday morning, you'll be responsible for leading the night shift operation, ensuring the safe, efficient and effective running of the warehouse whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer service and compliance.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £32,000 per annum plus a night shift premium, dependent on experience. In addition, we offer:

Shift Pattern

  • Monday night to Saturday morning
  • 20:00 - 06:00
  • 9.5 hours paid per shift
  • 30-minute unpaid break

  • Lead and supervise the warehouse night shift operation, ensuring service and productivity targets are achieved
  • Coordinate loading, unloading and dispatch activities in line with operational deadlines and customer requirements
  • Provide leadership, guidance, training and support to warehouse colleagues
  • Complete operational checks, site audits and detailed shift handovers with accuracy
  • Ensure all health, safety and security procedures are followed, promoting a strong safety-first culture across the operation
  • Investigate service issues, identify opportunities for improvement and communicate recommendations to management
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure the smooth running of the site throughout the night shift
  • Act as the main point of escalation and support for the night shift team

What You Need To Succeed At XPO

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience within a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and operational excellence
  • A strong commitment to health, safety and compliance
  • MHE licence would be advantageous; however, full training can be provided for the right candidate
