Night Shift Stock Team Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a reliable, organised and detail-oriented Night Shift Stock Team Administrator to join a busy fruit production and packing operation based in Chartham, Canterbury.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can support the smooth running of stock control and night shift operations.

The successful candidate will help maintain accurate stock records, coordinate information between teams and ensure stock movements and production requirements are recorded correctly throughout the night shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate stock records and update computer-based stock systems.
  • Record stock movements, deliveries and transfers accurately.
  • Support stock control activities and help ensure inventory records are up to date.
  • Check and verify stock information against production and operational requirements.
  • Assist with stock reconciliation and investigate discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse, production and stock teams.
  • Prepare and maintain administrative records, reports and relevant documentation.
  • Ensure all data is entered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Support the night shift team with general administrative duties.
  • Follow company procedures relating to health and safety, food safety and stock control.
  • Report stock discrepancies, issues or concerns to the appropriate team members.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Good administrative and organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills and a good standard of English.
  • Basic to good numerical skills.
  • Confidence using computers, spreadsheets and stock management systems.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and reliability when working night shifts.

Previous experience in stock administration, inventory control, warehouse administration or a similar role would be advantageous.

Experience using stock management systems or working within a warehouse, food production or packing environment would also be beneficial.

What's on Offer?

  • Hourly pay of £13.43–£15.16, depending on experience and competency.
  • Additional night shift bonus of £1.72 per hour.
  • 5 working days followed by 2 days off.
  • Starting at 7:00 PM, finishing between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM
  • Consistent night shift working hours.
  • The opportunity to develop administrative and stock control skills.
