Bank Night Supervisor

The Priory Retirement Village is looking for reliable and proactive Bank Night Supervisors to provide overnight cover during periods of annual leave and sickness.

As the first point of contact during the night, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety, security and wellbeing of our residents. Working independently while remaining part of a supportive wider team, you'll provide reassurance, respond to emergencies and help maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment throughout the village.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintaining a visible and vigilant overnight presence across the village.
  • Monitoring CCTV and carrying out regular security patrols of the building and grounds.
  • Recording and reporting any incidents, damage or maintenance issues.
  • Acting as the first responder to resident call bells and emergency situations.
  • Supporting the welfare and safety of residents and colleagues throughout the night.
  • Ensuring all situations are managed calmly, safely and efficiently.
  • Understanding and following all village emergency procedures, including health and safety, fire and resident welfare protocols.
  • Leading a full evacuation if required, in line with the village's fire safety procedures.
  • Promoting a safe and secure environment by adhering to Health and Safety legislation and company policies.
  • Reporting accidents, incidents or infectious illnesses promptly to the Deputy Manager or General Manager.
  • Completing accurate records and providing clear handovers to the daytime team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
