What You Will Be Doing
You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with intellectual disability, or who are autistic, and have behaviours which, due to their diagnosis may be of concern/distress. conditions, using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recover pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life.
Your day-to-day will include providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.
It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you’ve made someone’s life better.
This is permanent, full-time position, 36.75 hours a week, night shifts, 9pm-7.30am, 4on, 4off.

Location: Martham House, Princes Road, Redhill, Surrey, RH1 6JJ
Martham House is situated in Redhill, Surrey and provides ten en-suite bedrooms, two lounges, a dining room and a large garden. There is an excellent range of community facilities and amenities close by including an activity complex that houses bowling, cinema, rock climbing, arcades and golf.
Martham House provides a specialist residential service for all gender identities who have an intellectual disability, or who are autistic, and have behaviours which, due to their diagnosis may be of concern/distress. As well as supporting individuals who have an intellectual disability or who are autistic, we are specialists in working with additional complex needs including: Epilepsy, ADHD, Cerebral palsy, Self-injurious behaviours, Prader-Willi syndrome, Individuals who may have limited hearing or sight, Individuals with mobility issues who may require a wheelchair can also be considered for the service.
The service is staffed 24 hours a day by a dedicated team of Support Workers, led by an experienced Registered Manager
