Night Support Worker
Bismarck Hostel - Leeds
Starting salary £12.71ph plus 75p per hour supplementary rate
Rising to £12.91 after successful completion of probation, increasing to £13.45 after a further 12 months in post.

We’re Looking For Support Workers With
- A positive, compassionate attitude
- Willingness to support individuals with daily living activities such as medication, appointments, shopping, laundry, cleaning, hobbies and activities, accessing community resources and anything clients identify as a need, want or aspiration.
- A flexible approach to shift work
- Must be able to work with clients pets; cats and dogs and support clients to walk and toilet the dog.
Main duties of the job
- Support clients with everyday needs in person centred way according to their support plan
- Support each other as a team to complete all Health and safety tasks daily and complete records
- Be involved and participate in own professional and personal performance through supervision sessions
- Complete and keep all client and service records relevant and up to date
- Support workers will keep client support plans and risk assessments regularly reviewed.
- Staff must ensure they keep their training up to date and participate in their own performance monitoring

Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
This role expects you to be organised and be able to work as part of a team, delegate and prioritise tasks.
- Be a key worker to a group of clients, organising and spending 1:1 time with each individual and keep support plans and risk assessments up to date and relevant
- Ensure all service daily and weekly jobs are completed and documented on relevant systems
- Keep up to date with training and own development
- Support clients with pets as required.
