We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Team Member to join our Front Office team at the award-winning Fife Arms Hotel in Braemar.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about hospitality, enjoys creating memorable guest experiences, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. Working closely with our Night Manager and wider Front Office team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the hotel throughout the night while providing a warm and welcoming experience for our guests.
About The Role
As a Night Team Member, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of guest service, safety, and presentation throughout the hotel during overnight shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering an exceptional guest experience from check-in through to check-out.
- Ensuring the safety and security of guests, colleagues, and the hotel by conducting regular walkabouts and security checks throughout the property.
- Monitoring public areas, ensuring doors are secured, fire safety procedures are followed, and any health and safety concerns are promptly addressed.
- Maintaining a professional and welcoming presence at the Front Desk throughout the night.
- Completing all Night Porter and Night Audit duties accurately and efficiently.
- Responding promptly and professionally to guest requests and enquiries.
- Ensuring all public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Taking personal responsibility for adhering to the hotel's Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and management to achieve shared team and business objectives.

About You
Our ideal Night Team Member will have:
- Experience within a hospitality, customer service, or guest-facing environment.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning and professional development.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to use initiative.
- Emotional intelligence and the ability to build strong relationships with guests and colleagues.
- A good understanding of security procedures, Health & Safety requirements, and COSHH regulations.
- The ability to remain calm and perform effectively under pressure.
- A commitment to maintaining the high standards expected within a luxury hospitality environment.
