NIGHTTIME PATROL OFFICER

Location: 132 Queens Road, London, SE15 2HP

Pay: £14.80 per hour / Weekly Pay

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: 5 days per week, Monday to Sunday, 18:00 - 02:00

Contract: Temporary / Full-Time

Requirements: Valid SIA Security Licence & SIA Door Supervisor Licence

About The Role

Are you looking for a rewarding frontline security role where you can help keep communities safe?

We are recruiting Nighttime Patrol Officers to support local community safety initiatives across the borough. This is a visible, proactive role focused on reducing anti-social behaviour and crime while building positive relationships with local residents, businesses, and partner agencies.

As a Nighttime Patrol Officer, you will patrol designated areas, gather intelligence, engage with members of the public, and work closely with local authorities and other partners to address community concerns.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Conducting high-visibility patrols throughout the borough during evening and night-time hours
  • Monitoring and responding to incidents of anti-social behaviour and criminal activity
  • Liaising with local authorities, community groups, and partner agencies
  • Gathering information and intelligence to support crime reduction initiatives
  • Providing a reassuring presence within local communities
  • Recording incidents accurately and producing detailed reports
  • Identifying community safety concerns and escalating issues where necessary
  • Supporting investigations by collecting evidence and witness information when required
  • Maintaining professional standards while dealing with challenging situations

What We're Looking For

  • Valid SIA Security Licence (Essential)
  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (Essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Experience working in security, enforcement, community safety, or a customer-facing environment
  • Good observational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong report-writing and incident-recording skills
  • Flexible approach to working evenings, nights, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Full 5-year checkable work history
  • DBS check required
