Night Registered Veterinary Nurse, PetMedics Worsley Hospital, Manchester.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at PetMedics. We are an RCVS accredited 24-hour Small Animal Veterinary Hospital and Advanced Clinical Services centre.

You will enjoy being part of a friendly, welcoming and supportive team within a spacious practice. We are well equipped, with up-to-date equipment, and forward thinking and this role offers all aspects of general practice and referral nursing.

Rota:

  • 34 hours a week
  • 7pm-6.30am 6 shifts on and 8 off
  • 7pm-6.30am Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday every other weekend.
  • 4pm-3.30am every Sunday and Monday.

Life at PetMedics

PetMedics is a large veterinary hospital, staffed by a truly superb clinical team of 37 veterinary surgeons, 41 nurses and a supporting team of PCAs, receptionists, administrative staff and an ambulance team.

We have a large waiting room with a separate cat waiting room area. We are proud to have been awarded the GOLD status for being a Cat Friendly Clinic and the SILVER Rabbit Friendly status. Our facilities include:

About You

We're looking for a dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our team. No two days will be the same, you will:

  • Be passionate about delivering exceptional care to both our patients and their owners every day.
  • Support the outcome of patients' care in all aspects of clinical work as part of the team.
  • Ensure Quality is maintained by keeping our practice in excellent condition—ensuring quality of care and the best possible outcomes for every patient.
  • Learn, develop and grow with us, taking advantage of ongoing training and development opportunities offered by CVS and our practice.
  • Contribute to creating a positive environment, fostering a friendly, welcoming and supportive team culture.
  • Communicate with confidence, use your exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—to build strong, lasting relationships with colleagues, clients, and the pets they love.
