About The Role
As an NMF Communications Lead you will be responsible for providing support, management, structure, and leadership to shift staff that operate and maintain our existing DHFCS (Defence High Frequency Communication System) which provides key communications to our Australian Defence Force community.
About You
Having a solid foundation and understanding of the DHFCS, and a sound understanding of defence systems you will form a key part of a highly functional and systematic team. You will possess an ability to ensure timely delivery of Support systems, whilst being able to maintain a high level of accurate records. You will have the ability to comply with SOP’s and perform competency assessments for the wider operations staff to ensure smooth operations of the DHFCS Mission System. In addition to the above you will also ideally have a relevant trade qualification in either hardware, network engineering or communications.
To be successful in this position you will bring:
- Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Commonwealth Security Clearance
- Previous exposure to defence related High Frequency Communications desirable.
