The No.2 Mechanic Sub-Assembly
The No.2 Mechanic Sub-Assembly will play a vital role within our team, focusing on the assembly of sub-components that contribute to the overall performance of our vehicles. Your meticulous attention to detail and hands-on expertise will ensure that all assemblies meet the stringent standards required for F1®.
In this role, you will collaborate directly with the assembly team and engineering department to follow technical instructions, maintain quality control, and support the ongoing development and improvement of our assembly processes.
- Assist in the assembly of subcomponents, ensuring precision and adherence to engineering specifications
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the assembly process to maintain the highest standards
- Document assembly processes and maintain accurate records of work performed
- Collaborate with engineering personnel to address design modifications and process improvements
- Participate in problem-solving initiatives related to assembly techniques and machinery
- Help maintain a clean and organised workspace that promotes safety and efficiency
- Continuously seek opportunities for process enhancements and contribute positively to the team's goals
- Support transitions between assembly and race preparations as required for operational needs

What do we need from you?
- Experience in a similar mechanic or assembly role within motorsport or automotive environments
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems, with hands-on experience in high- performance vehicle assembly
- High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in work and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow detailed assembly instructions and technical drawings
- Strong communication skills, contributing effectively within a team environment
- Proficient in the use of common hand tools and assembly equipment
- Familiarity with quality control measures and a keen eye for identifying issues
- A flexible mindset with the willingness to adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed
- Commitment to safety protocols and best practices in the workplace
