NOC Engineer - SC Cleared
Our client is an IT Services organisation that are currently recruiting for a NOC Engineer. The NOC Engineer will be working for a key account. This is a hybrid role, based in Gloucestershire.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd Line support across customer network environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Cisco and Fortinet networking issues.
- Own incidents from investigation through to resolution.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers and vendors.
- Maintain accurate tickets, documentation and time records.
- Work within SLA targets and support managed service customers.
- Participate in on-call support and customer site visits when required.

Requirements

- Strong Cisco Routing, Switching and Wireless experience.
- Experience with Cisco and Fortinet security technologies.
- Knowledge of ASA, ISE, Firepower, FortiOS, FortiManager, Catalyst Center and Nexus.
- Previous NOC, MSP or Network Support experience.
- Understanding of ITIL and change management processes.
- CCNA/Fortinet certifications desirable.
- Full UK driving licence.
