NOC Engineer Analyst

Description

Join ITVET's Network Operations Centre (NOC), where you'll learn from experienced engineers, develop your technical skills, and play a key role in delivering outstanding support to our customers. Our NOC team combines technical excellence with collaboration, mentorship, and ongoing professional development, making it the perfect environment for ambitious IT professionals.

As a Tier I NOC Engineer, you'll handle network-related support tickets, troubleshoot and resolve common networking issues, and assist with the implementation of change requests. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for networking and technology who is looking to accelerate their career in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

  • Act as the initial point of contact and triage for all networking related tickets
  • Resolution of lower-level networking Incidents and Change Requests
  • Contribute to the resolution of higher-level Incidents by working with teammates to continue your technical development
  • Maintain exceptional customer service standards, with a focus on phone calls and frequent, effective email updates
  • Identify recurring issues and contribute to the long term resolution of these by working with teammates to continue your technical development
  • Contribute to the improvement of processes, documentation, and standards within NOC
  • Represent ITVET’s values, professionalism, and technical excellence in all client interactions

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Entry level experience working within IT, with some exposure to networking and keen to learn more
  • Ability to think logically and troubleshoot effectively
  • Calm, logical, and methodical under pressure, with strong troubleshooting instincts
  • Excellent communicator, able to explain technical issues clearly tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Approachable, supportive, and collaborative
  • Passionate about technology and continuously developing technical knowledge, with a love of problem solving
