About The Role
We are looking for a Senior NodeJS Backend Developer to join a rapidly expanding SaaS software business. This role offers the opportunity to work as part of a fast-paced product and engineering team, contributing to the design and development of scalable backend services. The successful candidate will take ownership of features from initial conception through to deployment, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and performant solutions. Instead of merely executing development tickets, this position encourages proactive involvement in improving backend systems and development practices, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
The role involves designing and developing server-side applications using NodeJS and TypeScript, building and maintaining microservices, and working within established development, documentation, and deployment processes. Collaboration within an Agile environment is essential, as is a passion for writing clean, efficient, and testable code. The position offers a fully remote working arrangement, providing flexibility and the chance to work with modern technologies in a supportive and collaborative setting.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
