Node.js Developer
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Node.js Developer based in United Kingdom.
This role offers the opportunity to develop modern digital solutions while collaborating with distributed, multicultural engineering teams.

Accountabilities
The Node.js Developer will be responsible for building, improving, and maintaining backend solutions while contributing to technical decisions and delivering high-quality software within distributed teams.
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js and modern development practices.
- Design and implement scalable software solutions following solid architecture principles.
- Build and integrate REST APIs to support reliable and efficient digital products.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring effective data management and application performance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary and international teams to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Participate in technical discussions, contribute ideas, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Apply testing practices to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Contribute to cloud-based solutions and modern infrastructure approaches when required.

Requirements
The ideal candidate is a skilled backend developer with experience building scalable applications, strong technical foundations, and the ability to collaborate effectively in remote environments.
- 3+ years of professional experience developing applications with Node.js.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Intermediate or advanced English proficiency for communication within international teams.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
- Curiosity, flexibility, and willingness to explore new technologies and approaches.
Nice-to-have Qualifications
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Mocha or Jest.
- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS and/or Azure.
- Knowledge of serverless infrastructure and cloud-native development.
