Nominated Individual – Children's Residential Service
Location: Eddington Birmingham
Salary: £31,200–£41,600 per annum
Hours: Part-time – 2 days per week, 9am–5pm
Start: ASAP
We are looking for an experienced Nominated Individual to join a new one-bed children's residential home and support the organisation through its ongoing Ofsted registration process. Working closely with the Registered Manager and Director, you will provide senior regulatory oversight, ensuring the service is compliant, well-led and fully prepared for Ofsted.

Key Responsibilities
- Support and oversee the Ofsted registration process
- Act as a key point of contact with Ofsted
- Provide oversight and support to the Registered Manager
- Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
- Oversee safeguarding, risk and regulatory compliance
- Lead quality assurance, audits and service improvement
- Ensure the home remains inspection-ready
What We're Looking For
- Previous Nominated Individual / Responsible Individual experience
- Strong children's residential care background
- Previous experience supporting Ofsted registration
- Knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations 2015
- Strong understanding of the Quality Standards
- Excellent safeguarding and compliance knowledge
- Experience providing oversight to Registered Managers
