Branch Manager – Education Recruitment | Cardiff | Hybrid | £55,000+ Car Allowance | Individual & Team Bonus | Non-Billing Role

recseekers is hiring an experienced Branch Manager for a well-established Education recruitment business in Cardiff.

The branch currently sits at around 10 people, with direct responsibility for approximately 7 consultants across office-based and remote working.

This is a non-billing leadership role covering people, performance, L&D, hiring and operations. You’ll also work closely with the Founder on strategy, headcount growth and opportunities to expand into new markets.

The role:

  • Lead, coach and develop the existing consultant team
  • Manage individual and team performance, targets and 1:1s
  • Improve training and L&D across the branch
  • Interview and hire trainees and experienced recruiters
  • Oversee onboarding and development of new starters
  • Take responsibility for day-to-day branch operations
  • Develop future managers and senior consultants
  • Work directly with the Founder on strategy and growth
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing markets and enter new ones
  • Maintain consistent standards across office-based and remote consultants

You’ll need previous management experience within Education recruitment and a track record of successfully developing teams. You should be comfortable managing different personalities and experience levels, improving performance and creating structure around training and development.

Package:

  • £55,000+ base salary
  • Car allowance
  • Individual and team bonus
  • Hybrid working
  • No personal billing target

Regular presence in the Cardiff office will be important, particularly around training, team development and new starters.
