Lex Exec is working with a highly regarded London law firm looking to recruit an Associate or Senior Associate into its Non-Contentious Construction team.
The firm has an outstanding reputation across real estate and private wealth and advises on some of the most sophisticated property matters in the market.
This is a purely non-contentious construction role and would suit a lawyer looking to develop within a specialist team closely integrated with a leading real estate practice.
The Role
You will advise clients across a broad range of development and construction matters, working alongside colleagues across real estate and related practice areas.
The work will include matters involving:
- Building contracts
- Professional appointments
- Collateral warranties
- Development and funding arrangements
- Construction aspects of acquisitions, disposals and financings
- Major development and redevelopment projects
- Negotiation of construction documentation

About You
We are particularly interested in speaking with non-contentious construction solicitors around 2–6 PQE.
You are likely to have:
- Genuine non-contentious construction experience
- Training and experience gained within a respected construction or real estate practice
- Experience drafting and negotiating construction documentation
- Strong technical and drafting skills
- Confidence working directly with clients and other professional advisers
- An interest in developing within a collaborative, high-quality London practice
