A leading UK law firm is looking to add a Senior Associate to its established non-contentious construction practice, with a particular focus on energy and energy transition projects.
The team advises across the full lifecycle of major energy developments, from procurement and project structuring through to construction, operation and asset optimisation. The work spans renewable energy, battery storage, wind and grid infrastructure, with clients including developers, infrastructure investors, utilities and major participants in the energy market.

You will work closely with an energy-focused construction partner whose practice covers the development, construction and operation of complex energy assets. At senior associate level, you will take a lead role on matters, including negotiating EPC, BOP, supply and O&M contracts, managing client stakeholders and junior lawyers. Matters frequently involve FIDIC and NEC forms, bespoke contracting structures and projects with multiple stakeholders or project-financed agreements.

The firm is particularly interested in lawyers with:
- Strong non-contentious construction experience within the energy sector.
- Experience across renewables, energy storage, wind and/or grid stability projects.
- Confidence leading complex contractual negotiations.
- Experience of EPC, O&M, FIDIC and/or NEC arrangements.
- The ability to manage junior lawyers and build client relationships.
