Non-Contentious Construction

Senior Associate - 4+ PQE

London / Hybrid

A highly regarded firm is looking to appoint a Senior Associate to join its market-leading Non-Contentious Construction team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced construction lawyer to join a well-ranked practice recognised for advising on complex, high-value development and infrastructure projects across a wide range of sectors.

The team acts for an impressive client base, including developers, investors, contractors, consultants, funders, and public sector organisations, providing strategic advice from project inception through to completion.

Working as part of a collaborative and ambitious team, you'll advise on a broad range of non-contentious construction matters, including drafting and negotiating JCT, NEC, and bespoke construction contracts, consultant appointments, collateral warranties, guarantees, and wider project documentation.

This role offers the opportunity to take on greater responsibility, supervise and mentor junior lawyers, contribute to business development initiatives, and help shape the continued growth of a thriving practice. The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 4 years' PQE in non-contentious construction law
  • Strong experience gained within a respected regional, national, or international law firm
  • Expertise in drafting and negotiating JCT, NEC, and bespoke construction documentation
  • Excellent technical ability, commercial awareness, and strong client relationship skills
  • A proactive approach to business development and mentoring junior team members
