Castle Peak Group Retained Appointment

Castle Peak Group has been retained to support the appointment of a Non-Executive Director with significant expertise in digital strategy, technology and organisational transformation. This is an important Board-level appointment within a large and complex healthcare organisation delivering hospital and community-based services to a diverse population.

The organisation is entering an important period of development, with a continued focus on strengthening governance, organisational culture, risk management and the quality and sustainability of services.

Digital transformation is a key strategic priority, and the successful candidate will bring the experience, insight and independent perspective required to support the organisation's digital ambitions while contributing to the wider responsibilities of the Board.

The Role

As a Non-Executive Director, you will work alongside the Chair, fellow Non-Executive Directors and Executive Directors as an equal member of the Board, sharing collective responsibility for the strategic direction, performance and success of the organisation.

You will provide independent judgement, constructive challenge and strategic advice across the full range of Board responsibilities, including quality, performance, finance, governance, risk, organisational culture and strategic delivery.

A particular focus of this appointment will be digital, technology and data. The organisation is seeking to strengthen its Board-level digital capability and accelerate the delivery of its digital strategy.

The successful candidate will play an important role in providing oversight and assurance in this area, including through membership of a newly established Digital and Data Committee.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
