Herts at Home is recruiting Non-Executive Directors with a passion for providing the highest standards of care and support.

Do you want to contribute to the local community while leading an innovative care company? If you have well-honed leadership and/or board level experience and are passionate about providing the highest standards of care and support, we would like to hear from you.

Established and owned by Hertfordshire County Council, Herts at Home has been providing care services since 2018. We are value-driven and reflect the ethos of the public sector but combine this with a commercial approach. Our staff team are our biggest asset, and we have grown steadily to employ more than 250 staff. With a turnover of £8m pa we specialise in providing home care and extra care services. We are now looking to strengthen our board with up to two further non-executive directors.

This is an unremunerated position, with reasonable expenses paid, and we are looking for a time commitment equivalent to seven days per year. In return, we can offer you an exciting opportunity to help lead and develop a growing company that works closely with the County Council and a range of partners.
