Voluntary Non-Executive Director Opportunities

Carrow House Creatives CIC is an independent Community Interest Company based at Carrow House in Norwich.

Established in late 2024, the organisation was created to develop affordable, accessible creative spaces where creative practitioners can work, connect, collaborate and grow.

Our current project, Level 5 Studios, provides affordable studio space for around 28 creatives working across a wide range of disciplines. More than simply providing workspace, we are building a creative community that encourages collaboration, peer support, knowledge sharing and professional development.

We believe that creativity has an important role in building stronger communities. Through accessible creative spaces, collaborative opportunities and community engagement, we aim to widen participation in the arts, reduce isolation, and support creative people to develop sustainable practices and careers.

Having successfully established the CIC and launched Level 5 Studios within a relatively short period of time, we are now entering the next stage of our development and are looking to strengthen our Board with new voluntary Non-Executive Directors.

About the Role

As a Non-Executive Director, you will work alongside the existing Board to help guide the future direction of Carrow House Creatives CIC.

This is an opportunity to contribute to a young and ambitious organisation at an exciting stage of its development. Directors provide strategic oversight, constructive challenge and good governance, helping to ensure the organisation develops sustainably and remains true to its community purpose. Although individual Directors may bring particular areas of expertise, all Directors share collective responsibility for the governance, direction and long-term success of the CIC.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
