Role Description
The Non-Executive Director will provide independent oversight, strategic guidance, and constructive challenge to the executive leadership team, helping to shape ACE Money Transfer’s long-term direction in the global fintech and remittance sector.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Reviewing board papers
- Participating in scheduled board and committee meetings
- Advising on risk management and governance frameworks
- Monitoring regulatory compliance and operational performance
The role involves contributing to decisions on growth initiatives, partnerships, and investment priorities, and ensuring that customer-centricity, ethical standards, and regulatory integrity remain at the core of the business. The Non-Executive Director will collaborate with other board members to evaluate business strategies, support succession planning, and uphold strong corporate governance. This is an on-site role based in the United Kingdom.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in board-level governance, risk oversight, and regulatory compliance within financial services or fintech.
- Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and ability to assess complex cross-border payment and remittance business models.
- Background in financial management, audit, or advisory, with the ability to interpret financial statements and key performance indicators.
- Knowledge of UK and international regulatory environments, especially FCA and other relevant global regulatory frameworks.
- Proven ability to provide independent challenge while maintaining collaborative relationships with executive and non-executive colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills, including clear, concise contribution to board discussions and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in high-growth, technology-driven organisations, ideally with exposure to digital payments or cross-border financial services.
- Commitment to ethical conduct, diversity and inclusion, and customer-focused decision-making.
- Prior Non-Executive Director or senior leadership experience is highly desirable; professional qualifications (e.g., accounting, law, governance) are an advantage.
