About Housing Gateway

Housing Gateway, a wholly owned subsidiary of Enfield Council, is seeking a dynamic Non-Executive Director to join our Board. Established in 2014, Housing Gateway is responsible for the acquisition and management of a diverse property portfolio providing both private rented and temporary accommodation homes.

With a portfolio of over 1,500 homes and a turnover approaching £30m, we play a critical role in supporting the Council to meet its statutory homelessness duties. We are committed to increasing the supply of high-quality, value-for-money housing, while reducing reliance on costly temporary accommodation and delivering sustainable financial returns to our shareholder.

About the Role

As our new Non-Executive Director, you will work as part of the Board to provide leadership, strategic direction, and constructive challenge. You will help guide the company through a complex and evolving housing market, ensuring Housing Gateway remains commercially robust while continuing to deliver strong outcomes for residents and the shareholder.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
