Role Overview
As a Non-Executive Director (NED) your role will be to work alongside other NEDs, the Chair of the Trust and the Executive Directors as equal members of the unitary Board; using your skills, knowledge and expertise to direct the work of the Trust.
You will have an important part to play in forging strong links with the Council of Governors. The Council is responsible for holding the NEDs to account, both individually and collectively, for the performance of the Board.

You will also have a clinical qualification and experience to become Chair/or Deputy Chair of the Quality Committee.
