Location: Rochdale

Remuneration: £6,219 per annum

Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH) is the UK's first tenant and employee co-owned mutual housing society, managing more than 11,000 homes across Rochdale. As we continue our journey of transformation and improvement, we are seeking two outstanding Non-Executive Directors to join our Board.

We are looking for experienced strategic leaders who share our commitment to social purpose, strong governance, and excellent customer outcomes. Both appointments require a strong understanding of the social housing sector and the ability to contribute effectively at Board level through independent challenge, sound judgement and strategic oversight.

Opportunities

Qualified finance professional (CCAB or CIMA)

  • Substantial senior-level financial leadership experience within the sector
  • Expertise in financial strategy, treasury management, risk and long-term financial sustainability

Legal professional

  • Significant experience of advising social housing organisations
  • Strong understanding of housing and company law
  • Expertise in navigating complex legal, governance and regulatory issues
  • Experience of strategic partnerships would be advantageous
