Sustainability Reporting Accountant

Non-Financial Reporting Accountant
Central London - Hybrid 2 dpw
£48,000 + Bonus + Benefits

We're partnered with a rapidly-growing UK financial services organisation to appoint a Non-Financial Reporting Accountant to support the continued development of its sustainability and non-financial reporting capabilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a career across finance, sustainability, reporting, and data. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across Sustainability and Finance, helping deliver external reporting, regulatory disclosures, assurance readiness activities, and the ongoing enhancement of reporting processes and controls.

Importantly, this is not a traditional financial accounting role. We're specifically looking for individuals who already have exposure to sustainability, ESG, or non-financial reporting and an understanding of the frameworks, standards, and disclosures that underpin this landscape.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the delivery of annual sustainability and non-financial reporting
  • Contributing to disclosures aligned with recognised frameworks including UK SRS, TCFD, and other evolving reporting requirements
  • Gathering, validating, and analysing sustainability and non-financial data
  • Supporting emissions calculations and wider environmental reporting activities
  • Assisting with assurance readiness, audits, ESG ratings, and external reporting submissions
  • Identifying opportunities to strengthen reporting processes, controls, and data quality
  • Working with stakeholders across the business to improve reporting ownership, governance, and accountability
  • Supporting reporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
