Summary

Salary: £61,600 - £88,000* per annum

Our GB Non Food Department is now hiring a Non Food Senior Consultant to join the Team. The infamous variety of the “Middle of Lidl” is one of the main reasons that our customers love to keep coming back week on week, and no week is ever the same!


Responsibilities

  • KPI Management: Oversee, analyze, forecast and report on Non-Food KPIs at Board and Director levels
  • Strategic Direction: Lead the Non-Food KPI process, aligning internal stakeholders with performance goals and carry out a number of Ad Hoc analysis based on business needs
  • Project Leadership: Drive operational projects to optimise Non-Food performance across the product lifecycle working in collaboration with a number of different stakeholders
  • Sales Performance: Deliver weekly sales analysis, reviews, and presentations
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build a network across supply chain, logistics, merchandising, and sales teams
  • Financial Integrity: Collaborate with Controlling Business Partners to ensure accuracy in commercial reporting
  • International Liaison: Engage with international stakeholders (English/German) to foster collaboration and a customer-centric mindset
  • Inventory Oversight: Manage stock holding through integrated forecasting, planning, and reporting
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement operational process enhancements

Requirements

  • Experience of working within a Non Food Team (in GB or in another country), or in a role adjacent to the Non Food Team is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in German is not essential but desirable
  • Intermediate Excel and Powerpoint skills (or Google sheets / slides) as minimum with a view to developing to advanced
  • Experience in leveraging AI for big data analysis is desirable
  • Proactive, commercial mindset focused on category growth
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet demanding targets
  • Resilient, confident approach when collaborating with and presenting to senior leadership up to board level
  • Strong numerical aptitude and capability to interpret complex data
  • Adaptable in the face of ever changing market conditions and expectations
  • Strong and confident communicator
  • Committed to building and maintaining a positive, collaborative team culture
