Role Description

The Non Working Site Supervisor role is a temporary, on-site position based in Cardiff. This role oversees daily site operations, ensuring that coating, flooring, and waterproofing works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications and company standards. The Non Working Site Supervisor coordinates site teams and subcontractors, manages work schedules, monitors progress, and addresses on-site issues. This role also involves conducting site inspections, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with project managers and clients regarding timelines, quality, and safety compliance. The position focuses on supervision and coordination rather than hands-on installation work.

  • Experience supervising construction or specialist contracting sites, preferably in flooring, coatings, or waterproofing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of site safety practices, risk assessments, and compliance with UK health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and method statements.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills for working with site teams, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Proven organizational skills for managing schedules, inspections, and site documentation.
  • Competence in basic IT tools for reporting, email communication, and record-keeping.
  • Relevant vocational or technical qualification in construction, civil engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
  • Previous experience in resin flooring, screeds, waterproofing systems, or industrial coatings is an advantage.
  • Valid right to work in the UK and ability to commute daily to the Cardiff site.
