£15.15 per hour
Job Overview
Join M&S as a Security Officer, where you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming and secure environment for our customers and colleagues. This role is for people who stay calm under pressure, lead with professionalism, and take pride in delivering great service while protecting our stores, people, and products.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming store environment, greeting customers and delivering professional support.
- Help keep stores safe and secure by preventing loss, responding to incidents, and identifying risks.
- Use store technology, including mobile reporting systems and body-worn cameras, to support store operations and incident management.
- Stay calm under pressure and act professionally and confidently in challenging situations.
- Work closely with store colleagues to maintain high standards, support operations, and create a positive environment.

Requirements
- Previous security experience is preferred.
- A valid SIA licence is desirable, although not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A calm, confident, and professional approach.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
- A genuine passion for customer service and keeping people safe.
Important Information
All candidates must be able to provide a 5-year checkable work history within the UK.
