About the Talent Pool

Are you a Northcoders graduate looking for your first role in tech or the next step in your career?

We're building a talent pool of ambitious early-career professionals interested in future opportunities through the _nology Accelerator Programme. By joining our Northcoders Talent Pool, you'll be among the first to know about upcoming training cohorts and client projects across a range of technology and business disciplines.

Opportunities may include roles in:

  • Software Development (Java, Full Stack, DevOps)
  • Software Testing & Quality Engineering
  • Business Analysis
  • Project Management Office (PMO)
  • Cloud & Infrastructure
  • Data & Analytics
  • Technical Support & Operations
  • Other emerging technology pathways

As a _nology consultant, you'll join a community of early-career professionals and receive structured training, mentoring, and ongoing support while gaining experience with leading organisations delivering critical public and private sector projects.

Successful candidates may be invited to join future accelerator programmes that provide the technical, professional, and consulting skills needed to thrive in a technology career.

What We're Looking For

We're interested in connecting with Northcoders graduates who demonstrate:

  • A genuine passion for technology and continuous learning
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • An interest in pursuing a career within technology, delivery, project management, business analysis, testing, data, or engineering
  • The ability to learn new tools, technologies, and ways of working quickly

We welcome candidates from all Northcoders pathways, including those who have gained experience through projects, placements, internships, freelance work, or early-career roles.

Future Opportunities May Involve

Depending on the role and client project, you could be involved in:

  • Designing, developing, testing, or supporting software solutions
  • Gathering and analysing business requirements
  • Supporting project delivery, planning, and stakeholder engagement
  • Working within agile delivery teams
  • Collaborating with developers, testers, analysts, project managers, and business stakeholders
  • Supporting cloud-based and digital transformation initiatives
  • Identifying and resolving technical or operational challenges

Typical Requirements

Requirements will vary depending on the specific opportunity, but candidates may be expected to:

  • Be based in various locations within the UK, including Newcastle, Manchester, London, Leeds, Birmingham, and others
  • Be available for remote training and hybrid working arrangements
  • Be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance
  • Demonstrate professionalism, curiosity, and a strong work ethic
  • Be available for full-time opportunities when programmes commence
