Position Summary
The Northern Marketing Manager is responsible for implementing a successful business and marketing strategy for Kodak Alaris for our document management business. This includes Scanning hardware/Software solutions and 3rd party offerings to our partner and end user networks. There are two main responsibilities. Firstly, to maintain and support our existing channel partners through our distribution model and value-added resellers. Secondly, to help support and implement out direct business through brand awareness and go to market strategies with end users and new partner networks.
He or she will have to support, drive, coordinate, and set direction or initiate activities/local programs in line with the Cluster objectives or Marketing plan. She or he will be accountable to monitor market changes and adjust marketing strategies accordingly to remain competitive within the changing market. He or she will act as subject matter experts to the Cluster Lead and other departmental leaders on issues relating to effective marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual strategic and operational marketing plan for the Cluster countries in line with Core market Sales Strategy’s working closely with the Northern Sales Director.
- Managing the relationship with the 3rd party SDR company, motor activities and lead management on target verticals and marketing support.
- PO creation for all Marketing led activates around MDF and advertising spend.
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies and plans targeting Channel partners and End Users to support and drive the business. (This could include Events, Seminars, Tradeshows, joint activities with channel partners, etc.) Own and drive successfully Kodak Alaris brand consideration and awareness within the Cluster Market in developing local marketing activities or implementing core market campaigns.
- Perfect market understanding and assessing the market situation, business needs and challenges through research and liaison to develop and localize appropriate products and propositions as well as verticals stories and propositions in relation to the core market strategy for each of the Cluster countries.
- Monitoring social channels and websites activities in the cluster and developing accurate action plans where needed in close relationship with EAMER Marketing team.
- Maintain and develop close working relationships with other Cluster teams like Sales, Product or operations service lines, promote market expertise and proposition portfolio externally (major customers, channels, journalists, analysts).
- Act as the marketing point of contact for the Cluster lead and countries team for any related topic touching ‘Marketing’’ and for the EAMER Marketing team.
- Managing and developing customer databases (Channel, end-users, Resellers, Distributors, etc.) to ensure proper communication success and relationships.
- Develop, own or maintain working relationships with local agencies to help promote the product and services and to attract new customers.
- Plan and administer the Cluster Marketing operations budget to deliver agreed plans, including tracking the co-op budget and joint activities per Value Added Distributors in close collaboration with the EAMER Channel Marketing Manager.
- Drive, own and track local promotions, incentives towards VADs, VARs, End Users as well as implementing and maintaining the EAMER Reseller Rewards Program locally.
- Identify and monitor Market trends in the defined sector
- Inform the wider EAMER team about potential changes and opportunities in the defined sector
- Drive and ensure proper go-to market messaging and activities for the defined sector.

Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Must have minimum 5 years in operational marketing with proven track record in B2B market.
- Field marketing leadership experience
- Proven experience working with sales teams and supporting programs to drive awareness and sales; actual sales experience is highly desirable
- Ability to demonstrate track record of success in all key areas of responsibility
- Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements
- Ability to consistently produce results on time and within budget
- Ability to align tactical plans with strategies
- Inbound marketing strategy/execution experience
Skills & Competencies
- Proven track record in leading and working effectively with cross-functional teams, including the sales organization, EAMER marketing team and finance.
- Must be self-starter, highly motivated, creative and organized, able to work at all levels in the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, presentation and project management skills required.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to host conferences, seminars or any other marketing activities.
- Must be Fluent in English (Written and spoken language). Any additional language is a plus
- Proven track record in developing and administering marketing programs.
- Excellent business, analytical and commercial acumen with well-developed financial understanding, budget management experience in multi-channel environment.
- Expected to formulate and draft marketing budget with the justified return on investment.
- Strong experience in marketing management and strategic planning experience.
- Expected to have strong leadership and consensus building skills.
- Expected to have excellent MS office skills, and preferably but not essential to have user level knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Applications.
- Expert in mass mailer, running direct marketing campaign and should be member of different associations and forums.
- Evidence of good understanding of the Cluster market trends.
