We are a confidential listening service, proudly run by students, for students.

We have been helping the students of Nottingham talk through what's on their mind since 1973 and we are available from 7 pm - 8 am every night of the term and 24/7 over emails.

Follow our socials for up to date information on our opening times.

We take privacy very seriously. Check out our confidentiality policy if you have any concerns.

  • The caller is a vulnerable adult and is at risk of harm
  • The caller has reported harm to an individual under the age of 18
  • The caller has given their location and reveals that they are in immediate risk of harm from another person

  • Nottingham Nightline reserves the right to report certain serious abuses of the service

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
