Nottingham Office - Technician - June 2026
Architectural Technician (Minimum Qualification: ACIAT)
Our Nottingham office is currently seeking an Architectural Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in the production and coordination of construction information across a range of project types and procurement routes. We are looking for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges and takes pride in delivering accurate, well-coordinated design information.
This role would particularly suit an individual looking to further develop their technical expertise and take on increasing responsibility within a growing architectural practice. Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of construction technology, building regulations, and the technical delivery of projects, alongside a proactive and collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Skills And Attributes
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary design team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and statutory authorities
- Organised, methodical, and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills
- Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction detailing, and technical standards
- Working knowledge of ArchiCAD is desirable, but not necessary
- A practical and analytical approach to problem-solving
- Experience in producing technical drawing packages and coordinating project information through all project stages
