NPD Assistant – Beauty

Blush & Bloom Talent are working with a well-established beauty brand who are looking to recruit an NPD Assistant to join their Product Development team. This is an opportunity for someone with experience within NPD, buying, merchandising or a similar product-focused role who is looking to continue building their career within the beauty industry.
You’ll work closely with the wider NPD team, getting involved across the product journey and helping to bring exciting new cosmetic launches to market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting a busy pipeline of new cosmetic launches, helping projects stay organised and on track from initial idea through to launch.
- Keeping on top of product timelines, outstanding actions and key development milestones across multiple projects at once.
- Working directly with external suppliers and manufacturers to obtain samples, product details and development updates.
- Coordinating samples throughout the development process and making sure the right teams have what they need at each stage.
- Helping to keep new product data, internal systems and launch documentation accurate and up to date.
- Keeping an eye on the beauty market, researching competitors, upcoming trends and new product concepts that could inspire future launches.
- Supporting the team with product reviews, meetings, presentations and preparation for upcoming launches.
- Acting as an organised point of contact between suppliers and internal stakeholders, following up on actions and helping resolve any potential hold-ups.
- Providing wider day-to-day support to the NPD team within a varied and fast-moving product development environment.

Key Requirements:

- Previous experience within NPD, Product Development, Buying, Merchandising or a similar role would be highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for beauty, cosmetics and new product development.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects.
- Proactive and confident following up with suppliers and internal teams.
- Commercially minded with an interest in beauty trends, competitors and consumer behaviour.
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment where priorities and deadlines can move quickly.
