Qualifying into Corporate & Commercial law is a big step. The right environment can make all the difference.

A well-established regional firm is looking to welcome a Newly Qualified Corporate & Commercial Solicitor into its Orpington team. You’ll work alongside experienced Partners and senior lawyers, gaining exposure to a broad range of commercial work while developing the technical and client-facing skills needed to build your career.

The Opportunity

The firm acts for an interesting mix of clients, from ambitious owner-managed businesses and sole traders through to larger companies, schools, charities and healthcare organisations.

You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced Corporate & Commercial lawyers on matters including:

  • Commercial contracts
  • Business sales and acquisitions
  • M&A
  • Distribution agreements
  • Corporate and commercial advisory work
  • General commercial matters

You'll be encouraged to take responsibility early, but with experienced lawyers around you to provide guidance and support as you develop.

About You

  • Newly Qualified Solicitor with a training seat or relevant experience in Corporate & Commercial
  • Strong academic and technical foundations
  • Commercially minded with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator and keen to develop client relationships
  • Ambitious, proactive and genuinely interested in building a long-term career in Corporate & Commercial law
