An established and well regarded law firm is looking to appoint an Employment Solicitor to join its growing team in Luton.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or junior solicitor to build a strong foundation in employment law, working alongside experienced colleagues on a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious matters.

The role offers early responsibility, direct client contact and excellent opportunities for long term career development.

Typical duties include:

  • Supporting clients across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
  • Assisting with Employment Tribunal claims from initial instruction through to conclusion.
  • Drafting legal documents, witness statements and correspondence.
  • Managing your own caseload with increasing responsibility as your experience develops.
  • Contributing to business development activities while building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualified Solicitor with 0 to 2 years' PQE, or be due to qualify shortly.
  • A genuine interest in developing a career in Employment Law.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • A commercial and client focused approach to legal advice.
  • The ability to work collaboratively while taking responsibility for your own development.
