Family Solicitor

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Family Law Solicitor to join a specialist and reputable legal practice with a great presence in North London. The firm has been established since 1974 and has strong links with the local community.

We are seeking a Solicitor with a good understanding in the local market to join our thriving and expanding team.

You will advise on a variety of matters to include divorce and separation, private children matters, injunctions and financial agreements / disputes. The caseload will be both privately and publicly funded. Knowledge of Legal Aid is preferred but not essential.

Duties will include:

  • Managing own caseload
  • Advising on a variety of privately and publicly funded family matters
  • Developing existing caseload in divorce, finance and private children matters
  • Drafting legal documentation to include Cohabitation Agreements and Prenuptial Agreements
  • Drafting various Court Applications
  • Being actively involved in marketing and business development activities

The position is advertised for a newly qualified Family Solicitor (up to five years PQE) to work with an experienced team of Solicitors, Trainees and Paralegals. Experience in Family Law (Care) will be an advantage.

The start date is as soon as possible but applicants may be accommodated based on their experience and notice periods.
