Private Client Solicitor
Bolton, Greater Manchester
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Location: Bolton
PQE: Newly Qualified – 2 years PQE
Type: Full-time, permanent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Private Client Solicitor to join a highly regarded, Legal 500-ranked firm in Bolton, working within an established and growing private client team.
The Role
You will work closely with experienced private client lawyers advising a broad client base, including HNW individuals, business owners, entrepreneurs and high-net-worth families. Your caseload will include a mixture of:
- Wills and complex wills
- Estate and succession planning
- Trusts and lifetime planning
- Inheritance Tax planning
- Probate and estate administration
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Business succession and family wealth planning
- Advising HNW clients and their families
- More complex and bespoke private wealth matters
You will have the opportunity to work on matters involving substantial estates, business assets, trusts and multi-generational wealth, with genuine responsibility from an early stage.

About You
We are looking for a bright, personable and commercially aware NQ Solicitor who is committed to developing a career in private client.
You will ideally have:
- Recently qualified as a solicitor, or be due to qualify shortly
- A genuine interest in private client law
- Experience during your training contract in wills, probate, trusts or estate planning
- Strong academics and technical ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A confident and professional approach to client relationships
- The ability to deal sensitively with high-value and often complex matters
- Ambition to progress within a leading private client team
This role would particularly suit an NQ who wants to move beyond straightforward wills and probate and gain exposure to sophisticated private wealth work.
