Solicitor (NQ) Dispute Resolution
Worcester | Full Time | Permanent
Talbots Law is expanding its L500 ranked Dispute Resolution Department in Worcester and is looking for a talented NQ Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join our growing team. Working alongside experienced lawyers and legal professionals, you will advise both individual and business clients on a broad spectrum of civil and commercial disputes.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop and strengthen your litigation expertise within a collaborative and highly regarded team. You'll enjoy exposure to a varied caseload, the support of experienced colleagues, and the opportunity to build lasting client relationships while contributing to the continued growth of the department.
You'll be joining a multi-disciplinary team that combines strong general litigation expertise with specialist knowledge across a range of contentious matters. What does the job involve?
- Advising individual and business clients on a broad range of civil and commercial litigation matters.
- Managing disputes including private nuisance claims, easement and rights of way disputes, boundary disputes, Party Wall Act matters, TOLATA claims, defamation claims, professional negligence disputes, and general civil litigation.
- Running matters from initial instruction through to resolution while providing clear, practical, and commercially focused advice.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm to deliver excellent outcomes for clients.
- Maintaining compliance with SRA regulations, Lexcel standards, Law Society quality requirements, SARs, and accounting procedures.
- Supporting business development initiatives and helping to strengthen client and referrer relationships.
- Delivering exceptional levels of client care and service at every stage of the client journey.

What do you need?
- Qualified Solicitor with pre or post qualification exposure to commercial and civil dispute resolution.
- A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
- Effective interpersonal communication, and team-working skills, both written and verbal together with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- A proactive and solution-focused approach with the ability to use initiative and manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
- Interest in business development and building professional relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and legal case management systems.
