Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Senior II
Department: Nuclear Medicine
Location: Cromwell Hospital, 164-178 Cromwell Road, London SW5
Permanent / Contract: Permanent
Salary range: up to £49,727 per annum dependent on experience and qualifications, plus Bupa benefits
Full time/part time: Full-Time, 37.50 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8am-6pm). Onsite.

We are looking to appoint a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Senior II to work at Cromwell Hospital, which is an internationally recognised hospital located in the heart of Kensington, London. This hospital receives both UK and international patients and is committed to providing the highest quality healthcare for patients.
About The Cromwell Hospital
The Cromwell Hospital is a major international private hospital in West London receive both UK and international patients. We are committed to providing the highest quality healthcare outpatient and inpatient service care. The hospital has 180 beds and 4 suites, 6 theatres, medical and surgical wards, CDU, level 2 and 3 full intensive care facilities, paediatrics, diagnostic services, physiotherapy, and a dedicated day surgery unit. The imaging/diagnostics services we provide at the Cromwell Hospital include; Nuclear Medicine, MRI, CT, general/xray, and Mammography. We also partner with Genesis Care who are onsite.

The service is open Monday to Friday 8am-6pm
You’ll help us make health happen by:
You’ll work as part of a multi-disciplinary team performing all types of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures, showing flexibility of shared tasks to ensure that we provide the best quality Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT service in a pleasant environment for both staff and patients, ensuring that a high quality, cost-effective service is delivered.
What you'll do:
- Maintain a high standard of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging and patient care in accordance with the departmental and hospital quality standards.
- Perform all types of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures according to departmental needs and policies.
- Demonstrate significant evidence of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT knowledge to meet with the expectations of the Consultants.
- Check all scans before sending to the consultants for reports.
- Accurately analyse the acquired data, record results and produce high quality images for reporting.
- Participate in a Quality Assurance programme for equipment, processing and Radiation Protection, maintaining accurate records and reporting problems to the Radiation Protection Supervisor.
- Liaise with the Medical Physics department to ensure that correct procedures are followed concerning the handling of radioactive waste and accidental spills.
- Maintain accurate records of isotope deliveries and waste disposal of same on a weekly basis.
What you’ll bring:
- B.Sc. Hons in Diagnostic Radiography or Diploma of Radionuclide Imaging or equivalent (essential)
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist or HCPC registered Radiographer
- Fully conversant with PACS.
- Registration with Health Professions Council (if a Radiographer)
- Experience in PET-CT imaging / Nuclear Medicine / multi-slice CT scanning (essential)
- Perform IV cannulation and confidently administer radioactive injections and other licenced products.
