Nuclear Security Shift Manager

Are you an experienced Security Manager ready to lead operations within one of the UK's most critical and highly regulated environments? We are seeking an exceptional leader to oversee security delivery, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive a culture of excellence across our security teams, supporting the protection of critical national infrastructure.

Shift Pattern

  • 4 days, 3 nights, 4 off
  • 3 nights, 4 days, 3 off
  • All 12 hour shifts

Essential Requirements

What We're Looking For

The Successful Candidate Will Be Expected To Demonstrate

  • Experience within protective security, security operations, supervision, or operational management.
  • The ability to lead operational teams and support Supervisors.
  • A strong understanding of site processes, Assignment Instructions, and operational requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with the workforce.
  • The ability to set clear direction, reinforce standards, and hold others to account.
  • The ability to create and support a positive safety culture.
  • A good understanding of nuclear safety expectations and security requirements.
  • Attention to detail and thorough knowledge of security protocols.
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office, Outlook).
  • Effective resource allocation and problem-solving skills.
  • Investigatory and report writing skills.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain minimum SC security clearance.

Qualifications And Training

  • Security Industry Authority (SIA) Licence.
  • Level 3 Award in Health and Safety.
  • Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work.
