ARM Secure is a specialist security provider within the Asset Protection Group, formed through the merger of ARK (Alarm Response & Keyholding) and VRC Monitoring Solutions. By combining professional keyholding, alarm response, and advanced monitoring services, ARM Secure offers comprehensive protection for residential and commercial clients across the UK. Operations are based in a fully owned, NSI Gold accredited Alarm Receiving and Remote Video Response Centre (ARC/RVRC) in Yate, Bristol, staffed 24/7/365 by experienced security and technical support teams. As part of Asset Protection Group, ARM Secure can enhance monitoring solutions with additional services such as keyholding response and out-of-hours barrier and gate repairs, providing integrated and reliable security solutions.
Role Description
In this full-time remote role, team members will support ARM Secure’s monitoring and response operations by handling security-related communications, documenting incidents, and coordinating with on-site personnel and clients. Daily responsibilities may include:

- Reviewing and validating incoming alarms
- Escalating critical events according to established protocols

Individuals will collaborate with colleagues across different security functions to ensure timely and effective responses, uphold service standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of procedures. The role also involves adhering to regulatory and accreditation requirements, following data protection guidelines, and engaging in ongoing training to stay current with security technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to convey information clearly under pressure.
- Ability to use computer-based monitoring platforms, incident management tools, and standard office software efficiently.
- Attention to detail, sound judgment, and problem-solving skills for assessing and prioritizing security events.
- Capacity to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with a dispersed team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required by 24/7 operations.
- Understanding of basic security, safety, and data protection principles; previous experience in security or monitoring is beneficial.
- Relevant education or training in security, operations, or a related field is an advantage, though equivalent experience is also valued.
