Location: Charles Street, Tredegar, Gwent NP22 4AE
Salary: £21.75 per hour
Working Hours: Average 30 hours a week
Shift Times: Mixture of days and nights on a 4 week rota.

We're looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Maes-Y-Dderwen
About Maes-Y-Dderwen
Maes-y-Dderwen is a 24 bed facility located in Tredegar, Gwent. The aim at Maes-y-dderwen is to meet the individual needs of every resident. To achieve this we use a person centred approach to care where the focus is on the strengths of the service users rather than pathology.

Your Role
As a Registered Nurse, you'll play a vital role in delivering outstanding clinical care by:

- Assessing residents' physical, emotional and psychological needs.
- Developing, reviewing and implementing person-centred care plans.
- Safely managing and administering medication in accordance with NMC standards.
- Leading and supporting the care team throughout each shift.
- Promoting dignity, independence and choice for every resident.
- Building positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
- Maintaining high standards of clinical governance, safety and regulatory compliance.
- Mentoring and supporting colleagues while championing best practice.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A compassionate, person-centred approach to care.
- Confidence using IT systems and electronic care records.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of care.
